SOCIETY FOR THE STUDY OF THEOLOGY
The Society exists as a forum for gathering together any and all individuals interested in the study of Christian theology and its influence, conversation and dialogue with other learned disciplines, as well as dialogue with those who belong to other religious faiths altogether. Membership is open to all who have a serious postgraduate interest in the field.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the Society for the Study of Theology reported a surplus of £8,300.13 for the year ended 30 June 2025, with total receipts of £92,564.50 against payments of £84,264.37. Total assets at the end of the period increased to £54,963.75, comprising a general account of £34,491.44 and a reserve account of £20,472.31. The independent examiner confirmed that proper accounting records were kept and no material issues were identified.
