THE OBJECT OF THE CIO ISTO RELIEVE SUCH DESERVING POOR PERSONS, RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF SWAVESEY WHO ARE IN RECEIPT OF AN OLD AGE PENSION OR OTHER PROPERLY SECURED INCOME, AS THE CIO MAY SELECT FOR THE PURPOSE BY PROVIDING HOMES, AT SUCH RENT WHETHER NOMINAL OR OTHERWISE AS THE CIO SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT, IN COTTAGES MAINTAINED BY THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH PROVISION PROVIDED THAT IF AT ANY TIME ANY COTTAGE BELONGING TO THE CIO IS NOT REQUIRED FOR OCCUPATION AS AFORESAID, THE CIO MAY LET THE SAME FOR THE BEST RENT THAT CAN REASONABLY BE OBTAINED.
