FAREHAM AND DISTRICT MODEL RAILWAY CLUB CIO
We are a Model Railway Club, we undertake a variety of activities to enable our members to get the most from their hobby and to introduce the general public to the hobby. We have exclusive use of and operate from Clubrooms in Portchester which are leased from Fareham Borough Council.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity achieved an increased surplus and strengthened its base funds, operating from a more confident and sustainable footing. However, the trustees note an ongoing risk to long-term sustainability due to challenges in maintaining the membership base. The charity holds unrestricted reserves of £12,862.45, partly attributed to funds owed in back rent by the local council.
