During the 2024 – 2025 academic year the grant The Stonyhurst Foundation provided to Stonyhurst supported 44 pupils, allowing them to receive a Jesuit education through the provision of bursary funding.
In the 2025 GCSE results, five of the top ten performers in the year group were Foundation-supported.
Analysis of the GCSE examination results reveals the exceptional performance of Foundation bursary holders: Eight of the top twenty performing pupils in Year 11 were Foundation supported bursary pupils and five of the top ten performers were supported by Foundation funding.
Since its launch in 2020, the Foundation has raised £14M in income from donations and legacies.
We are delighted that through the joint efforts of the Stonyhurst community £14M has been raised since the inception of the Foundation to August 2025, with a further £6M pledged over the next five years.
