THE PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL OF THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF ALL SAINTS, CARSHALTON
All Saints is the ancient Church of England Parish Church for Carshalton and The Wrythe; there has been a church on this site since before the Norman Conquest and we continue to be very much at the heart of the local community. We are in the modern catholic tradition of the Church of England, rejoicing in the diversity of our community.
Financial health, per its FY2024 accounts
The accounts state that unrestricted reserves decreased from £452,364 to £388,422, resulting in a net expenditure of £62,794 for the year. The trustees report that finance remains an ongoing concern despite growth in church attendance. However, the PCC maintains that its reserves policy of three to six months' expenditure is being met.
What the accounts disclose
“It is the policy of the PCC that unrestricted funds which have not been designated for a specific use should be maintained at a level equivalent to between three and six month’s expenditure.” — page 7
