EARL SHILTON BAPTIST CHURCH

We have weekly worship services, and various other activities including a Community Hub, parent & child group, and lunch club. We run courses such as Christians Against Poverty and Alpha.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity holds unrestricted reserves of £119,591, which the trustees report is sufficient to cover three months of running costs as per their policy. The trustees note that while current income supports this reserve level, any future ministry appointment would require an operating loss, indicating a dependency on maintaining these reserves to sustain future activities.
What the accounts disclose
“As standard we hold 3 months’ full running cost in reserves.” — page 5
“We have therefore been actively working to raise our reserves to the level required to guarantee an office holder a 3-year contract with our current income, which we have now more or less achieved.”
