ST JAMES CHURCH PRE-SCHOOL CIO
We are a preschool operating in the Wokingham Borough area. We provide childcare and education for 2 - 5 year olds following the Earley Years Foundation Stage curriculum as outlined by the DofE. We operate out of the St.James Church Centre, Southlake, Woodley. We are run by a voluntary committee and funded via the early years free entitlement.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity held unrestricted reserves of £98,171 against a stated policy target of three months of running costs. While the trustees noted uncertainties regarding future government funding changes and wage increases, they confirmed the charity has sufficient reserves to cover expenses and potential staff redundancies.
