CARRIERS OF HOPE, COVENTRY
We work with asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in the Coventry area that experience extreme poverty and lack the most basic personal and household facilities. We provide food, clothing, furniture and other key items donated by the public. We hold weekly outreach events attended by 150 families to build relationships and identify pathways that will support them and rehabilitate their lives.
Financial health, per its FY2024 accounts
The accounts state that the charity reported a net expenditure of £132,812 for the year, resulting in a decrease in total funds to £270,051. The trustees note that the financial structure is vulnerable due to dependence on uncertain income streams, but confirm there are no material uncertainties regarding going concern. Reserves were designated to protect the ability to meet critical payroll and premises costs.
