CAPITAL OF CYCLING
We aim to encourage more people to cycle, more often for utility and leisure. We develop the capacity of deprived communities to engage with cycling activities. We believe the environmental, social, mental and physical health, community and economic benefits of cycling are huge and collaborating with and supporting cycling related campaigns, clubs and community groups helps us to realise these.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity ended the year with free reserves of £138,209, which exceeds its stated policy target of six months of charitable expenditure. While the net payments for the year were a surplus of £25,740, the trustees note that venue insecurity and potential future costs for new premises justify maintaining these high reserves.
What the accounts disclose
