BRYN AND CWMAFAN EVENTS
Our aim is to develop the needs of the community, supported by the local authority and partners to create a stronger, independent community where we live. To achieve this, we will build on community principles, values and respect to strengthen community ownership and participation. All proceeds raised will be channelled back in to the events and distributed to worthy local causes.
Financial health, per its FY2024 accounts
The accounts state that the charity generated a net surplus of £25,120 for the year ended 31 December 2024, with total receipts of £123,601 against payments of £98,481. The trustees have set a reserves policy target of £20,000, which is calculated to be sufficient to fund the next event without other income sources. Per the statement of assets and liabilities, the charity held unrestricted cash funds of £118,821 at the period end.
