Belper Singers is a Chamber Choir of around 30 mixed voices performing a wide range of choral music from the 16th to 21st centuries. They perform about six concerts per year in a range of venues including churches, stately homes, pubs and community spaces, mostly in Belper and Derbyshire villages. They rehearse weekly in Belper during school term time.

OBJECTS THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE:TO MAINTAIN, IMPROVE AND DEVELOP FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE ADVANCEMENT OF CHORAL MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY ANY MEANS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT, INCLUDING THROUGH THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS;TO FURTHER SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSE OR PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION SHALL THINK FIT BUT IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE MAKING OF GRANTS AND DONATIONS, FOR INSTANCE FROM THE INCOME FROM CONCERTS.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND/OR SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.]
