MOUNT LODGE YOUNG FARMERS CLUB
Mount Lodge YFC is fully inclusive of all young people 10 - 26 years old. Our members attend the farm to learn how to look after the animals, learn rural skills, being in the countryside with the other members. We have a mixture of members some with learning disabilities or in local authority care, others are either pursuing a career in agriculture or working with young people additional needs.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity held unrestricted reserves of £8,563 at the end of the period, with a net surplus of £1,997 generated from incoming resources of £32,856 against payments of £30,859. The trustees reviewed general reserves and felt they were not excessive, noting a specific Club Fund reserve of £500. The independent examiner confirmed that no material matters came to their attention that would cause them to believe the accounts were not prepared in accordance with the Act.
