THE LOCHNAGAR CRATER FOUNDATION
To raise awareness of, and commemorate, all those who fell in the Great War by providing information to visitors to the Western Front battlefields. especially the Lochnagar Crater on the Somme, which has up to 250,000 visitors each year.Also to specifically engage with schools, as over 100,000 of the visitors are young people and students. This is done via the new website www.lochnagarcrater.org

The accounts state that total unrestricted funds increased from £3,876 to £20,271, driven by a net income of £16,395 against charitable expenditure of £24,910. The trustees report that the charity has no ongoing dependencies and no requirement for a reserves policy. Cash at bank stood at £20,804 with current liabilities of £744, resulting in a strong net asset position.

The French charitable association has the same objects as the U.K charity and the monies provided are spent on projects approved by both entities.
