GLOUCESTER CHORAL SOCIETY
Gloucester Choral Society performs regular public concerts, and runs regular choral and vocal workshops for our members and the general public, as well as undertaking periodic overseas tours. We run Choral Scholars and Choral Apprentices schemes, designed to support the musical development of local young people, and provide small choral groups to perform for weddings and other events.

The accounts state that the charity achieved a surplus of £8,930, increasing its unrestricted reserves to £45,321. This financial position is supported by reduced expenditure on orchestras and a successful benefactors' scheme, which offset disappointing ticket revenue. The trustees maintain tight control over expenditure to progressively build reserves toward a target of £50,000.
