WIRRAL FOODBANK
We collect food from the public via Churches, schools and supermarkets and through a voucher scheme held by frontline agencies registered with Wirral Foodbank who signpoint clients to us, we provide free three days worth of food for individuals and families in Crisis.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity made a deficit of £63,923 for the year ended 31 August 2025, primarily due to payments for the Foodbank Plus service. General unrestricted reserves stood at £247,846, representing 8.4 months of running costs, which is above the stated policy target of six months. The trustees expect to make a deficit in 2026 as they are committed to the Foodbank Plus project until December 2026.
