Financial health, per its FY2024 accounts

The accounts state that the charity made a surplus of £106,900 for the year ended 31 December 2024, with unrestricted funds increasing to £174,417. The trustees confirm that reserves are maintained at a level equivalent to between three and six months' expenditure, which they consider sufficient to ensure continuity of activities. The independent examiner reported no matters giving cause to believe that accounting records were not kept or that the financial statements did not accord with those records.

What the accounts disclose

Largest income source: Membership subscriptions (18% of income)
“The main sources of income were Membership subscriptions of £60,462 (2023: £52,565), income from donations and for the memorial plaque including gift aid of £59,187 (2023: £54,425) and Meshabarakh & weekly donations of £23,399 (2023: £13,477).” — page 4
Per its FY2024 accounts as filed with the Charity Commission.
Reserves policy: between three and six month’s expenditure (held: £174k)
“It is the policy of the charity that unrestricted funds which have not been designated for a specific use should be maintained at a level equivalent to between three and six month’s expenditure.” — page 4
Per its FY2024 accounts as filed with the Charity Commission.
Related-party transaction: The document explicitly states in Note 18 that there were no disclosable related party transactions. Although a donation from Ohel David L. (where trustees are involved) is mentioned in the Trustees' Report, Note 18 overrides this by stating 'There were no disclosable related party transactions during the year'. Therefore, no related party flags are extracted based on the explicit statement in the notes.
“There were no disclosable related party transactions during the year (2023 - none).” — page 17
