The accounts state that the charity achieved a total surplus of £22,863 for the year, driven by a significant surplus in restricted funds which offset a deficit in unrestricted funds. The trustees report that unrestricted reserves of £23,704 are well covered against their policy target of retaining six months of normal expenditure, estimated at approximately £17,000. The independent examiner confirmed that no material matters came to attention that would prevent a proper understanding of the accounts.
