CHINLEY BUXWORTH & BROWNSIDE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
The Community Association provides a range of activities and events for residents of all ages. These include arts & crafts groups, health and fitness classes and regular events aimed at improving and maintaining health and wellbeing. An annual Summer Fete is held in July and a Christmas meal for our older residents takes place at the beginning of December.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity reported a net decrease in total funds of £3,818 for the year ended 31 March 2025, resulting in total net assets of £248,206. The trustees consider there are no material uncertainties regarding the charity's ability to continue as a going concern and believe it has adequate reserves for the foreseeable future. This financial position follows a period where the charity faced reduced income due to the closure and demolition of its previous building.
