DEWSBURY ARTS GROUP
We are a thriving Amateur Drama and Fine Arts group, long established in the Dewsbury area of West Yorkshire. We present 6 major productions and a number of smaller ones at our own theatre. There is also a Youth section with weekly classes.Our Artists hold regular Life Drawing sessions and present 2 major exhibitions at local venues
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity finished the year with cash funds of £40,156.35 and made a profit of £6,281.22, which the Treasurer describes as a 'comfortable position'. The reserves policy target is set at £30,000 to cover contingency costs and annual running costs, and the current unrestricted reserves exceed this stated target.
