ENGLAND GOLF TRUST
To help young people in financial need who, without support, would not be able to play golf. Grants and bursaries are available for young golfers of all abilities who in the future will make up the heart and soul of a golf club. We will create a life-long sporting habit and enable young people to develop life skills including confidence, self-esteem and integrity.
Financial health, per its FY2024 accounts
The accounts state that the charity generated £40,809 in income and incurred £10,265 in expenditure, resulting in a net movement in funds of £16,147 for the year. Total funds carried forward stood at £203,275, comprising £123,523 in unrestricted funds and £79,501 in restricted funds. The trustees maintain reserves at a level sufficient to cover immediate future requirements and grant commitments.
