FRIENDS OF YORK WALLS
The objects of the charity are to educate the public in the history, natural history and architecture of the historic defences of York and its city walls, and to secure the preservation, protection and improvement of features of historic public interest. We regularly open the Fishergate Postern Tower, and other areas of York's city walls, to the public to promote their use and conservation.
