Financial health, per its FY2023 accounts
The accounts state that the charity reported an unrestricted operating loss of £433k for the year ended June 2023, driven by increased staff costs and strategic investments in fundraising and campus redevelopment. Free reserves declined to £588k, which the trustees note is below their stated policy target of covering three months of budgeted operating expenditure.
