The Rifleman's Museum Trust
To educate the public and members of the armed forces in the history and military accomplishments of The Rifles and its antecedent rifle regiments by public exhibition of the CIO's collection in a museum or such other public places as the trustees may from time to time decide, and to add to, restore, preserve, document and interpret the material in its care.

The accounts state that net assets increased to £670,723 in 2025 from £505,232 in 2024. The trustees report that free reserves are covered by the General Fund and meet the policy target of retaining not less than £80,000. The independent examiner confirmed that no material matters came to their attention during the examination of the accounts.
