The Trust provides support to children and their families/carers affected by Encephalitis and the subsequent Acquired Brain Injury. We aim to raise awareness and fund research in to the causes, diagnoses & treatments of Encephalitis. PROVIDING FUNDING FOR RESEARCH INTO CHILDHOOD ENCEPHALITIS AND ABI INCLUDING CAUSES, SYMPTOMS AND POTENTIAL EARLY DIAGNOSIS,3. EDUCATING PROFESSIONALS AND PROVIDING ESSENTIAL TRAINING ON CHILDHOOD ENCEPHALITIS AND ABI FOR THOSE WHO SUPPORT CHILDREN WITH ENCEPHALITIS AND ABI,4. ADVANCING THE AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF ENCEPHALITIS AND ABI IN CHILDREN FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, 5. KNOWLEDGE SHARING OF FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCES, ADVICE AND GUIDANCE TO FAMILIES, EDUCATORS, MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS OR ANY PERSONS REQUIRING SUCH KNOWLEDGE.2.2.
