PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH ADDITIONAL NEEDS
PCAN is an independent, parent led forum for all parents and carers of children and young people aged from birth to 25 years with additional needs. It provides information on services, activities and support; provides opportunities for parents to network with each other; works to develop and maintain consultation between service providers and parent carers regarding current and future services.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The charity reported a net income surplus of £41,239 for the year, resulting in total unrestricted reserves of £105,652. The trustees acknowledge that these reserves are in excess of their policy target and have amended the policy to set a new upper limit of £47,500, with plans to utilize additional reserves over the next three years.
