Christian Action for India's vision is to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor through Christ-centred ideas and methods. CAFI is involved in a variety of projects in order to meet the dire needs of the poor and persecuted people of India. Partnering with a number of local mission organisations to distribute aid, CAFI has close relations with the local communities it is attempting to help.

I) TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION THROUGH THE HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS, LECTURES AND PROVIDING AND DISTRIBUTING LITERATURE AS THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME MAY THINK FIT.II) TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND TO PROMOTE AND PRESERVE GOOD HEALTH BY THE PROVISIONS OF FUNDS, GOODS AND SERVICES OF ANY KIND. III) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME MAY THINK FIT.IV) TO PROMOTE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME MAY THINK FIT;PARTICULARLY AMONGST THE POOR COMMUNITIES IN INDIA.
