ST MARY AND ALL SAINTS CE PRIMARY SCHOOL PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION
The PTA fundraise to provide the teachers and children at the school with additional facilities which cannot be provided for by the LEA. Events involve the children, teachers and parents as well as the wider community such as school fetes, social evenings, jumble and cake sales. Fundraising enables the PTA to purchase items at the request of the Headteacher.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity's free reserves decreased from £49,084 to £33,695 during the period, as outgoings exceeded fundraising income due to significant one-off projects. Despite this reduction, the trustees report that routine outgoings remain well covered and the reserves position is very strong, with no material uncertainties regarding the charity's ability to continue operating. The charity relies heavily on parent volunteers and fundraising activities to fund educational enhancements not provided by the Local Education Authority.
