WOMEN WITHOUT ROOFS - NEPAL
Women Without Roofs (WWR) is a small, yet growing, charity that benefits women and their families living in Nepal. We help women that are on their own and are struggling to survive. Many of these women also have children and all of our women are vulnerable, sometimes a husband will abandon his wife because of the stigma of leprosy, or perhaps the husband is in jail or dead.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity's end-of-year balance was approximately £42,000, which is almost identical to the previous year. The trustees report no financial concerns regarding the charity's ability to continue, noting that the source of funds is widespread and reliable. However, they identify potential risks related to insufficient ongoing funding and operational constraints imposed by Nepali authorities.
