THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS THE RELIEF OF PERSONS WHO ARE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS WHO: ARE RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT, OR HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT FOR THREE OR MORE YEARS IN AGGREGATE IN THE LAST SIX YEARS. THE TRUSTEES MAY RELIEVE SUCH PERSONS BY:THE PROVISION OF HOUSING UPON TERMS APPROPRIATE TO THEIR MEANS; OR MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY TO THEM; OR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR GOODS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES FOR THEM, INCLUDING PAYMENTS TOWARDS THE PROVISION OF HOUSING ACCOMMODATION; OR MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY TO OTHER PERSONS OR BODIES WHO PROVIDE GOODS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES TO THOSE IN NEED.
