PLYMOUTH UNITARIAN CHURCH
Our core activity is a regular Sunday service, in the church, for worship and celebration. We also have discussion groups and action groups meeting on weekdays, e.g. a Green Group, a Poetry Group and other discussion groups. We support other chosen charities by fund-raising, and liaise with other faith and inter-faith groups, with the aim of promoting inter-faith communication and harmony.
Financial health, per its FY2024 accounts
The accounts state that the charity incurred a net deficit of £4,347 for the year, resulting in a negative net asset position for Church Funds of £88,749. However, the trustees consider the overall level of funds held to be sufficient to ensure the continuing operation of the Trust, with unrestricted reserves for PUCT and Tavistock Abbey Funds totaling £205,757.
