(3.1) TO PROMOTE, ADVANCE AND PROVIDE OR ARRANGE FOR THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING FOR EMPLOYMENT AND SELF-EMPLOYMENT FOR THE INHABITANTS OF THE SOMALI COMMUNITY IN BOW AND BETHNAL GREEN.(3.2) TO RELIEVE THE CHARITABLE NEEDS OF THE SOMALI PEOPLE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY ASSISTING THEM TO CUT ACROSS THE BARRIERS OF THEIR LANGUAGE, RACE OR CULTURE AND BY PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ADVICE ON ISSUES RELATED TO THEIR YOUTH, CULTURE AND ON SUCH OTHER AREAS WHICH THEY MAY HAVE DIFFICULTY IN ACCESSING.(3.4) TO PROMOTE CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE GENERAL BENEFIT AN WELFARE OF THE SOMALI RESIDENT IN BOROUGH OF TOWER HAMLET AS THE THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE SHALL THINK FIT AND WORKING WITH LOCAL VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES.
