Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity reported a net expenditure of £39,423 for the year, resulting in a decrease in total funds from £1,340,139 to £1,300,716. The trustees acknowledge that the nursery faces a difficult financial outlook due to a drop in local birth rates and rival provision, while the post office is subsidized as its staffing costs exceed income. Despite these pressures, the charity maintains unrestricted reserves of £49,291 and reports no material uncertainties regarding its ability to continue as a going concern.
