THE PRESERVATION PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF ANY LANDS, TENEMENTS OR BUILDINGS WHICH ARE OF LOCAL, ARCHITECTURAL, ARTISTIC OR SCIENTIFIC INTEREST OR IMPORTANCE; 2. THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TOWARDS THE MAINTENANCE AND DEVELOPMENT OF LOCAL SCHOOLS AND OTHER AMENITIES AND THE PROMOTION OF THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION; 3.
