ACTIVIES FOR YEAR 07/08 INCLUDED FLY TYING COURSE AND PLANTING OF A FRUIT AND NUT HEDGE TO PROVIDE A WILD-LIFE HABITAT AND ALSO A WILLOW ARBOUR BENCH FOR PEOPLE TO ENJOY. WE HAVE ALSO BEEN WORKING ON WALKING LEAFLETS TO PROVIDE BOTH LOCALS AND VISITORS WITH CIRCULAR ROUTES THEY MAY WISH TO TAKE THROUGH OUR COUNTRYSIDE. WE ALSO HELD A BREATHING PLACES OPEN DAY AND TOOK PART IN THE VILLAGE GALA DAY

(I) FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF ULNES WALTON AND SURROUNDING AREAS, (WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS) BY ASSOCIATION WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT, PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, THE PROMOTION, PROTECTION, PRESERVATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE NATURAL AND BUILT ENVIRONMENT; AND (II) BY THE PROVISION OR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS.HARITABLE PURPOSE WHICH THE COMPANY SHALL CONSIDER CALCULATED TO PROMOTE ITS OBJECTS OR ANY OF THEM.(D) ADVANCE GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO SUITABLE QUALIFIED STUDENTS TO UNDERTAKE RESEARCH.
