THE OBJECTIVES OF THE PTA (A REGISTERED CHARITY) ARE TO ADVANCE THE CHILDREN'S EDUCATION JOINTLY WITH THE HEADMISTRESS AND SCHOOL COUNCIL; TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE NEWTON PREP SCHOLARSHIP FUND; TO DEVELOP EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN STAFF, PARENTS AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL; AND TO ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES OR PROVIDE FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL.
