To preserve for the benefit of the public the house known as Hinchingbroke House by maintaining, improving, adding to and preserving the fittings,furniture, ornaments, monuments and facilities of the house, and of the adjacent grounds and gardens.2.To promote the study and appreciation of Hinchingbroke House as a place of historic interest.
