The accounts state that the Group's unrestricted funds decreased to £34,538, resulting in a net deficit on unrestricted funds of £71,463 for the year. The Trustees confirm the Group operates on a going concern basis, supported by indications that supporters will continue to provide additional financial resources as required. Total consolidated funds increased significantly to £57,202,812, primarily driven by a £6.88 million gain on the fair value of investments in The Mercian Trust.
