Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity achieved a small overall surplus of £766 for the year, but this was offset by a deficit on the general fund, resulting in an accumulated unrestricted deficit of £17,084. The trustees note that the charity has no general or unrestricted reserves left and describe this as an unsatisfactory and unsustainable situation, particularly as the main grant from Southampton City Council is being withdrawn by April 2026.
What the accounts disclose
“Due to the revenue deficit incurred in previous years, the company has no general or unrestricted reserves left at 31 March 2025. The directors appreciate that this is an unsatisfactory situation and is not sustainable for the charity in the medium to long term.”
“The director Glen Jevon charged fees for his professional filming services and for the year ended 31 March 2025 these amounted to £4,410” — page 23
