NEWARK AMATEUR OPERATIC SOCIETY
We produce two annual productions and an occasional concert either as a group travelling to visit our twin town or a fund raising concert at our usual venue. A charity sub-committee meets to decide donations from our funds that could help local individuals, groups or organisations.
Financial health, per its FY2024 accounts
The accounts state that the charity ended the year with a net surplus of £18,562, bringing its accumulated fund to £95,714. The trustees consider this reserve sufficient to cover the cost of a major production, estimated at around £45,000. The charity remains active with a production scheduled for Spring 2025.
