UPPER WHARFEDALE FELL RESCUE ASSOCIATION
The relief of suffering and distress amongst persons and animals endangered by accidents or natural hazards by providing arrangements for secure and efficient search and rescue of such persons and animals.This done through the maintenance of volunteer underground and surface rescue teams, based in Grassington, North Yorkshire and covering Wharfedale, Nidderdale, Littondale and mid-Airedale.
