Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that Timtin’s financial position has remained strong and its financial status is stable, with unrestricted reserves of £30,000 held to cover potential investment needs in an ageing building and staff redundancy costs. However, the trustees note challenges regarding underfunding of EYE Funding which does not increase in line with inflation or minimum wage, and rising operational and staffing costs.
What the accounts disclose
“Reserves have been maintained due to operating in an ageing building which requires some investment to remain functional. Financial advice has indicated Timtin should also hold sufficient funds to cover staff redundancy costs.”
