FRIENDS OF TREAD
Friends of TREAD is occupied with fundraising for and the governance of various projects established in South India through TREAD India Trust. These projects support children, young people and their families through education and relief of poverty.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity is using up its unrestricted reserves to fund ongoing work in India, resulting in a net outgoing resource of £9,199 for the year. The trustees note that they will need to reduce payments to TREAD India Trust in the following financial year to align expenditure with income. Despite this drawdown, the charity maintains that its current reserve levels are sufficient to cover immediate requirements.
