(1) TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM, AND IN PARTICULAR FOR THOSE INHABITANTS WHO ARE OF BANGLADESHI ORIGIN, AND IN PARTICULAR FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES:-TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TRAINING;-TO PROVIDE, AND TO ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF, INFORMATION AND ADVICE TO THOSE IN NEED OF IT;-TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE PUBLIC HEALTH-TO PROVIDE, AND ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF, FACILITIES FOR THE RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES OF THE SAID INHABITANTS, PARTICULARLY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND SO THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED.(2) TO RELIEVE POVERTY, SUFFERING AND DISTRESS, AND TO PROTECT AND PROMOTE PUBLIC HEALTH IN BANGLADESH.
