THE DUNFIELD CHARITY
We provide group accommodation to Community of Christ for reunions, camps and retreats at which the Christian religion and the worth of all persons are promoted. When not used by the Church the accommodation is marketed to faith-based, educational and community groups by our subsidiary, Dunfield House Ltd. These groups run their own programmes whilst at Dunfield House.
Financial health, per its FY2024 accounts
The accounts state that the Charity reported a net outgoing resource of £48,189 for the year, driven by a support payment to its trading subsidiary which incurred losses. While the Charity holds substantial property assets with a market value significantly exceeding its loan liabilities, the trustees acknowledge that continued operating losses at the 2024 level could threaten the viability of the operation.
