Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity held unrestricted reserves of £135,000 at the end of the period, representing approximately 8% of the insured value of the building. The trustees note that these reserves were depleted over several years but have been partly replenished to cover ongoing building repairs and potential future salary subsidies. The independent examiner confirmed that no material matters came to their attention during the examination of the accounts.
What the accounts disclose
“Our reserves once represented about 1Aa/a at the insured value of the building but were depleted over several years. We have partly replenished those drawdowns during the period we were without a pastor and currently represent about 8% of the insured value.”
