The accounts state that the charity incurred a deficit of £1,220.45 for the year, primarily due to increased staffing costs and reduced income from fees as children did not utilize all funded hours. Despite this, the trustees report that the savings account remains at a healthy balance held for potential redundancies, and the independent examiner confirmed no material matters were found in the examination of the accounts.
