OLD COLSTONIAN CHARITABLE TRUST
The Trustees have had due regard to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit and have determined that, for the time being, the principal beneficiaries of the charity will be Collegiate School and any members of the public who wish their children to benefit from an independent education at Collegiate School but are unable to afford the cost of independent education.
Financial health, per its FY2025 accounts
The accounts state that the charity reported a net expenditure of £10,154 for the year, reducing its total unrestricted funds from £905,232 to £895,078. Free reserves (excluding fixed assets and investments) decreased to £23,127, which the trustees note is required to fulfill commitments to provide ongoing bursarial support. The trustees consider there to be no material uncertainties regarding the trust's ability to continue as a going concern.
