BATHAMPTON PLAYGROUP
Bathampton Playgroup runs for 4 1/2 hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, 3 1/2 hours on Friday morning and 2 hours on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons during school term time. Children from age two-and-a half years old to 5 years old are accepted. The playgroup has been in existence for over 50 years and many in the village are involved in its committees, fund-raising and organising.

The accounts state that the charity ended the year with a small surplus of £351, having spent £74,688 against income of £75,039. The Treasurer's report notes that the playgroup is not financially viable on government funding alone and relies heavily on donations and fundraising to cover running costs.
