Related-party transaction: Management fee paid to Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons
The Fund paid a management fee of £200,000 in the year (2024: £200,000) to GLMMM to cover staff and administration costs and charged rent of fnil (2024: £nil) to GLMMM. Due to changes in the terms of the Lease, GLMMM now pays the rent direct to Crown Properties. Included in Donations and Legacies is an amount of £172,000 (2024: £135,000) in respect of the rent paid directly on behalf of the Fund. A corresponding expense is included within support costs. GLMMM also bears the amortisation of the Leasehold Property. At the yearend GLMMM owed MBF £94,109 (2024: GLMMM owed MBF £72,850) in respect of these transactions.
